2022 Update 3

March Madness Update 3

  April 3, 2022

    “Goodbye Coach K”

Love him or hate him, the great one is gone.  North Carolina, ending the 100 last games, in a stalemate, 50-50, ending the career of Coach K, with a gutsy, impressive, nail biting, fit for a semi game, defeating Duke 81-77.  And what a show it was.  Came down to the wire.  Missed free throws were the reason, game long, not just at the end to throw anyone under the bus.  Riveting, electric, GREAT GAME. The #8 seed, friend to a few in our pool comes through.  The hottest team in the last few games.  Up next comes Kansas.  Workman like.  Took control over Villanova early 10-0, and never looked back.  We at March Madness Central have a MULTITUDE of generous people in our pool from Kansas/Missouri and although we don’t like to pick sides, or maybe we do, yours truly will be sporting Kansas gear come Monday night.

Kansas 81 Villanova 65.

We are on to the final game.  And a great one it should be.  Kansas holds steady as a 4.5 point favorite.  Projected to be a 152 point game.  Enjoy the last hurrah.
